Making Complex Projects Relatable: Mongolia’s First Green Bond

This multimedia piece demonstrates my ability to make complex financial instruments accessible and compelling. I led the research and collaborated with teams on the ground in Mongolia to film, produce and edit a story on how the country’s first green bond is transforming its cashmere industry – tracking the journey from nomadic herders on the steppe to factory floors, and connecting climate finance to the people it affects most.

Animating Audio: “My First Job – Mary Porter Peschka

This showcases my ability to bring audio content to life visually. I produced the animation for an IFC AudioStories episode featuring Mary Porter Peschka, IFC’s Regional Director for Eastern Africa, in which she reflects on a career that began with a cold call and a leap of faith. The animation transforms a candid conversation about mentorship, women in leadership and breaking barriers into an engaging, shareable format for IFC’s digital audiences.

This example illustrates my experience handling a complex production process for a globally broadcast story of vital importance. I budgeted and planned a week-long trip to Mauritania, researched and scripted the piece, conducted interviews, contributed to and directed camera work, managed social-media staff on location, tracked voice-overs and video-edited the end-package.

Telling a Company’s Story Creatively: “BOLT – How to get around my City” (Episode 1, Nairobi)

I conceptualized and produced this multi-episode series on “How to Get Around My City” to introduce one of IFC’s transport investments, the rideshare app BOLT.

A Multimedia Campaign: “Women in Trade”

This was a web-campaign, real-life exhibition and related video for the World Bank Group Board of Executive directors to make the case for the IFC-Goldman Sachs Banking on Women Global Trade Finance Program which has supported more than 233 women entrepreneurs worldwide. It involved hiring and travelling alongside photographers to visit the women entrepreneurs in their workplaces and capturing, editing and launching multimedia material for the campaign.

Telling Stories in Fragile Situations: “Terrorism Attack in Kenya

After a devastating terrorist attack on a bus in northern Kenya, I traveled to the location on the fragile border with Somalia the same day. In a tense situation with a community still in shock, I gained the trust of local residents, obtained access to security personnel and received permission to view the scene of the attack. I edited the story locally and transmitted it on-time despite very limited connectivity and resources on location.
